Your First Visit

Here is exactly what will happen.

No surprises and no guesswork. This is the shape of a first appointment at the practice.

Step by Step

  1. 01

    Before you arrive

Complete your paperwork at home and send your insurance details when you schedule. We verify benefits in advance, so nothing about cost is discovered at the front desk.

  2. 02

    When you walk in

You are greeted by name and shown where to sit, and the waiting is short. If coming in has made you anxious, say so at the door and we will slow the visit down.

  3. 03

    The comprehensive exam

We examine your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissue, and take the images needed to see what an examination alone cannot. Everything we find goes on a screen where you can see it too.

  4. 04

    The conversation

We walk through the findings in plain language and answer whatever you want to ask. This is the part most practices rush, and it is the part we protect.

  5. 05

    The plan

You leave with a written plan: what needs attention now, what can wait, and what each part costs. Nothing gets scheduled until you have agreed to it.

What to Bring

Three things, that is all.

  • Photo ID

A driver's license or any current photo identification.

  • Insurance card

If you carry dental insurance, bring the card so we can confirm what we verified.

  • Current medication list

Everything you take regularly, including over the counter medication and supplements.

Patient Forms

Fill it out at the kitchen table instead.

Both forms can be completed ahead of your visit and brought with you, which keeps the appointment focused on your care rather than paperwork.
